La Superba wins Libris literature prize
Novel La Superba by Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer has won this year’s prestigious €50,000 Libris literature prize.
La Superba is ‘an important novel with a powerful universal message which deserves many new readers outside our own language’, the judges said.
The book tells the story of the bohemian writer Leonardo who lives in Genova. It is not yet available in translation.
