Dutch Massive Music creative director killed in SXSW festival crash

One of the two people killed when a car drove into the crowd attending festival South By SouthWest (SXSW) in Austin, the US, was a Dutch national, according to Dutch media reports.

Steven Craenmehr, 35, worked as creative director for Amsterdam-based Massive Music and was outside the Mohawk venue when he was hit by the car which was fleeing police.

According to US media reports, the two people who died were driving mopeds at the time. US media do not identify the dead.

Several other people have been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
