Summer set to make a return

Summer is set to return, with no rain and temperatures rising to highs of 25 Celsius next week, according to weather forecasters.

Website weeronline says it will be dry, sunny and warmer from Monday, with the temperature reaching up to 25 Celsius. following an unsettled spell.

Not all forecasters are as optimistic. The KMNI weather bureau agrees it will be dry after a wet weekend, but says the temperature will remain around 21 Celsius. MeteoConsult says it will be warmer as the week progresses.

Last month was one of the 10 warmest Julys since records began in 1901, with an average temperature of 19.1 Celsius. July also had twice as many sunny days as in an average year and the first official heatwave since 2006.
