Prince Bernhard diagnosed with cancer
Prince Bernhard, second son of former queen Beatrix’ sister Margriet, has been diagnosed with the cancer Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, the state information service said.
The prince is undergoing treatment which will interfere in the way he functions in daily life, the RVD said in a short statement.
The prince, 43, has been treated for the inflammatory bowel disease Crohn’s disease for several years. He is married and has three children.
