Rotterdam police have this week questioned a further 51 pupils at a Rotterdam secondary school in connection with the theft of 27 school leaving exam papers in April.

All those questioned are said to have used stolen papers to cheat in their exams and all are under suspicion, news agency ANP said.

In total, 58 pupils from the Ibn Ghaldoun school were called in for interview. Five were on holiday and two failed to turn up.

On Monday, a 20-year-old Rotterdammer and 18-year-old youth from Zoetermeer were arrested in connection with the investigation. Six pupils at the school were earlier arrested in connection with the theft of the papers.

Pupils at the Ibn Ghaldoun but not other schools were forced to retake all the stolen exams.
