Dutch Facebook user numbers drop 10% so far this year
The number of people in the Netherlands using the social media website Facebook has fallen 10% so far this year, according to new figures from research group Comscore, quoted by Nos television.
The number of Dutch Facebook users exceeded nine million unique users in May 2012 but fell to 8.5 million in February, Nos said.
Facebook remains the most popular social network in the Netherlands, following by LinkedIn (four million users) and Twitter. Twitter also lost around 500,000 users over the past few months, Comscore is quoted as saying.
