Ajax consolidates lead as PSV draws and Feyenoord lose
Amsterdam football club Ajax stretched its lead at the top of the Dutch premier league in the weekend’s football action with a 4-1 win over NEC.
With six matches to go, Ajax is on 60 points, three points clear of second placed PSV and Vitesse.
PSV managed to snatch a 2-2 draw at Roda JC after equalising in the dying minutes of the game.
Vitesse of Arnhem are in joint second place after a 2-1 win over PEC Zwolle.
Feyenoord of Rotterdam slipped into fourth place and are now on 56 points after losing 2-0 away to Heerenveen.
