Olympics: More medals for Holland

The Netherlands won three more medals at the Olympic Games in London on Tuesday afternoon.


Epke Zonderland won gold in the men’s horizontal bar at the North Greenwich Arena with a spectacular programme containing ten elements including a unique triple consisting of Cassina-Kovacs-Kolman moves.
The German Fabian Hambüchen won the silver medal and Chenglong Zhang from China took bronze.
Dressage
The dressage team of Anky van Grunsven on Salinero, Adelinde Cornelissen on Parzival and Edward Gal on Undercover scored well but could not quite overtake the British and German teams.
The Dutch won the bronze medal, with Great Britain winning gold and Germany silver.
Cycling
Teun Mulder shares the bronze medal in the keirin cycling race with Simon van Velthooven when the jury could not decide who had reached the finish first.
Britain’s Sir Chris Hoy won the race, taking his sixth Olympic gold. Maximilian Levi from Germany won silver.
The Netherlands is in 10th place on the medal list with five gold, three silver and six bronze.
