Lawyer loses case to stop welcome home party
Friday 10 August 2012
The lawyer in Den Bosch who went to court to stop the welcome home party for the Dutch Olympic team withdrew his case on Friday afternoon.
The festivities will take place on Monday on the square in front of the station, where the team will arrive by train from London at 2.30 pm.
Hugo van Steijn, who has an office on the square, said the event would prevent him from working on Monday.
Discussions outside court with the local council gave Van Steijn more idea of what was planned and how long it would continue. He agreed to withdraw his case.
