Vitesse wins Europa League place, Willem II back in premier league

Arnhem football club Vitesse qualified for next season’s Europa League at the weekend with a 5-2 aggregate victory over RKC.

Vitesse joins PSV, AZ and Heerenveen in the preliminary rounds of the Europa League. Ajax and Feyenoord take part in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, VVV-Venlo will remain in the premier division next season and Willem II of Tilburg return to the top competition.
Willem II beat second division rivals FC Den Bosch 2-1 in the second leg of their play-off after a goalless draw last week.
Excelsior, promoted to the premier league in 2010, will be replaced by FC Zwolle. De Graafschaap has also been relegated.
