Selexyz new owner works on relaunch

Investment company ProCures, which has bought the ailing book chain Selexyz, is working on a restart which would involve combining the Selexyz book shops with the De Slegte chain, the NRC reports.

ProCures took over the 16 Selexyz outlets for €3.5m from the receivers on Friday and is now working to take over the second-hand and discount De Slegte group. The aim is to combine both companies in a single location, the NRC said.
Family-owned De Slegte has 18 shops in the Netherlands and eight in Belgium. Both chains are represented in 13 cities.
