Man arrested at Schiphol airport after making bomb threat

A man has been arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport after making a bomb threat which led to two terminals being cleared, the Telegraaf reported on Monday afternoon.


The man was pictured being led away by police at around 1300 hours, over an hour after locked himself into the toilets with his suspect package.
According to website nu.nl, the man was not found to be carrying any explosives and nothing has been found in the airport. His identity has not yet been established.
Terminal 1 and 2 were evacuated and a number of flights were delayed or cancelled, the Volkskrant reported.
