Arcadis CEO to step down

The chief executive of civil engineering group Arcadis is to stand down this year, after 12 years in the job, the company said on Monday.

'It is time to pass on the helm, so I have room to pursue other personal interests and worthwhile activities,' Harrie Noy said in a statement. Noy joined the company in 1975.

Noy will be succeeded by Neil McArthur who joined the board last year.
