Ajax striker Mounir El Hamdaoui, who has been sidelined this season because of a dispute with coach Frank de Boer, is to move to Italian side Fiorentina, the Telegraaf reports on Tuesday.

With just hours before the close of the winter season transfer window, the transfer has been agreed and the player is expected to sign the contract later on Tuesday.
El Hamdaoui was one of the best paid players in the Ajax squad and is demanding compensation for not playing this season, the paper said.
