Second PVV councillor quits in The Hague

A second councillor for the anti-Islam PVV in The Hague has left the party, saying she cannot accept the way the local group works.

Marjolein van de Waal will keep her seat on the city council but operate as an independent. Last week, PVV councillor Arnoud van Doorn was expelled by the PVV because of ‘problems’ with the accounts.
The PVV now has six seats on the city council.
