Amsterdam mayor wants to limit Occupy overnighters to four

The number of people sleeping in tents at the Occupy camp outside the former stock exchange in central Amsterdam should be limited to four, mayor Eberhard van der Laan has said in a letter to the city council.

The Occupy campaigners said earlier this week they are prepared to reduce the size of the camp to cut down the nuisance to locals and businesses.
Van der Laan said he wants the camp reduced in size by 75% in the very short term, and is pressing for its removal to the Zuidas business park, the Telegraaf reports.
