Wildbreien wins new word poll
Wildbreien (graffiti knitting) is the most popular new word of 2011, according to visitors to the Dutch lexicology institute’s website.
Graffiti knitting is the process of knitting long strips of colourful wool and wrapping street furniture, lampposts, trees and other objects.
Second in the poll was infobesitas – or an overload of information.
