PostNL posts a loss as TNT Express shares slump

Dutch postal company PostNL saw its operating profit slide 23% in the third quarter of this year to €104m, the Financieele Dagblad said on Monday.

At the same time, the company posted a net loss of €313m, due mainly to the decline in value of its shares in TNT Express.
PostNL owns almost 30% of TNT Express shares, which have halved in value since the company was split into two in May.
