Chinese massage parlour raided in The Hague

Some 40 police officers were involved in a raid on a Chinese massage parlour in The Hague on Thursday night.

The raid was prompted by an investigation into human trafficking and forced prostitution, the Telegraaf said. It is not clear how many people were arrested.
‘We want to give a signal that this will not be tolerated,’ mayor Jozias van Artsen told reporters.
Earlier this year, police in The Hague shut down three brothels in the city’s red light district following complaints from neighbours and claims that women who worked there had been forced into prostitution.
