An 18-year-old youth from Losser has been arrested for threatening to cause a blood bath at an ROC vocational training college in Hengelo using the microblogging service Twitter, news agency ANP reports.

A number of other Twitter users had alerted the police to the threats, ANP said.
Several school pupils have been arrested in recent months for making threats using Twitter.
In one case a 17-year-old girl was kept overnight in jail and suspended from school for making ‘ironic’ threats. Another case involved an 11-year-old boy.
