Sint Franciscus hospital in Rotterdam is nation’s best: AD
The Sint Franciscus hospital in Rotterdam is the best in the country, according to the AD’s annual ranking.
Compared with 2010, eight of the top 10 hospitals are new, the paper says. More details on the ranking will be published on Saturday.
The Rotterdam hospital, which was in the top 10 last year, scored above average in almost all the 38 categories which make up the ranking. In particular, it rates highly for the quality of its nursing care and cancer operations.
Elsevier magazine’s hospital ranking last year said the Groene Hart hospital in Gouda, the Slotervaart hospital in Amsterdam and the Twente hospital group are the best in the country.
