Samsung wants Dutch to ban 3G iPhone and iPad

A court in The Hague will rule next month if Apple iPads and iPhones should be banned in the Netherlands, according to international media reports.

Samsung went to court on Monday to call for the ban, in the latest stage of the two companies’ ongoing global patent war.
Samsung also filed four patent cases against Apple and asked for a preliminary injuction against all Apple mobile products which use 3G technology.
The court will rule on the ban on October 14. The patent cases are being heard separately.
In August, Apple went to court to have some Samsung tablets banned in the Netherlands.
