Photos of wanted football hooligans set to appear on billboards

Photographs of men wanted in connection with last weekend’s football riots in Rotterdam have been posted on police websites as part of an effort to up the arrest total.

So far, 11 men have been picked up in connection with the disturbances, which saw a group of some 50 people try to smash their way into an office block where Feyenoord football club is based.
The incident forced police to draw their weapons.
Rotterdam mayor Achmed Aboutaleb says if the men do not come forward, the photos will be displayed on an electronic billboard in the city centre at the weekend.
