T-Mobile joins rest in increasing mobile internet fees

Telecoms company T-Mobile is following competitors KPN and Vodafone by introducing more expensive subscriptions for smart phone users.

T-Mobile is introducing three subscriptions for new customers from August 15 and the deal for people who want constant internet access on their mobile phones will be more expensive, T-Mobile says.
Earlier, KPN and Vodafone introduced a new fee system to compensate for the loss of income following the rise of free internet services such as Skype and text messaging system WhatsApp.
Just before the summer break, parliament passed net neutrality legislation which stopped telecoms firms charging extra fees for services like Skype.
