The Polish public prosecution department has accused the Netherlands of being slow to react to requests for help in its investigation into corruption at Philips in Poland.

The department made several requests for assistance but these went largely unanswered, and when information did arrive, it was after the Polish investigation had been completed, Nos television said.
The trial of three former Philips Poland workers and a number of regional hospital directors on corruption charges began in Poland on Monday.
The three are accused of bribing hospital officials to buy Philips Medical equipment. In total, €760,000 was paid in bribes between 1999 and 2006, the public prosecution department said.
The case, which involves 90 charges, will be heard in detail in October.
