Edwin R, one of three men arrested in connection with a major child abuse case at Amsterdam pre-school crèches, is to be released from custody on Thursday, the Telegraaf reports.

The 39-year-old, who worked at one of the childcare centres involved in the abuse case, is not suspected of directly molesting children.
The main suspect has admitted molesting some 80 very young children while working at at least three city crèches.
The terms of his release will be made public later on Tuesday.
