Political party 50PLUS says it’s being ignored by television

The new political party 50PLUS is considering taking legal action against public broadcaster Nos for ignoring it in election coverage.

Leader Jan Nagel says the party has been excluded from all the televised debates so far and has appealed to parliamentary leader Gerdi Verbeet for her help.
According to the latest Maurice de Hond opinion poll, 50PLUS would win two seats if there was a general election tomorrow. The party is hoping to win enough support in the provincial elections on March 2 to qualify for a seat in the senate.
