National grid operator to invest up to €10bn over 10 years

National grid operator Tennet plans to invest between €9bn and €10bn in its Dutch and German electricity networks over the next 10 years.

The company, which is 100% state owned, is also planning a new €500m bond issue to finance current investments.
The investment will be split fairly equally between the two grids, Tennet said in a statement.
