Animal feed maker Nutreco on takeover trail
Animal feed producer Nutreco expects to announce takeovers in China, Brazil and Vietnam over the next few weeks, CEP Wout Dekker said at the presentation of the company’s 2010 financial results.
‘We just have to round them off,’ Dekker is quoted as saying in the Financieele Dagblad. The company has a war chest of €500m.
Nutreco’s full year sales rose 9.5% to almost €5bn, while net profit was up 20% to €113m. The strongest growth was booked in the fish feed division.
