More foreign firms move to Amsterdam

In total, 122 new foreign firms set up in the Amsterdam region last year, creating more than 1,000 jobs, according to city council figures.

Most firms operate in the financial services, IT and creative sectors, the council said. Some 37% are Asian firms and 31% come from the US.
Last year’s influx means over 2,000 foreign companies are operating around the capital.
