Household spending reached three-year high in November

Dutch household spending rose 2.6% in November, the highest increase in almost three years, according to new figures from the national statistics office CBS.


Heating costs due to rising gas costs were the main driver behind the increase, but families also spent more on cars, clothes and household articles, the CBS said.
