More public sector executives break salary ceiling
Last year, 2039 public sector workers and people working for state-owned institutions earned more than a minister, home affairs minister Piet Hein Donner said on Monday.
In 2008, 1916 people broke the salary ceiling for the public sector.
A minister’s taxable income averages around €188,000. The big public sector earners had an average salary of €212,000.
