Corrected for seasonal influences, the jobless total fell by 1,000 in November, following declines of 2,000 in the previous three months and 6,000 in the first half.
Year on year, the jobless total has fallen 14,000 to 403,000 or 5.2%.
The number of people registered as job hunting rose almost 1% to 484,000 according to the national job centre organisation UWV. And the number of unemployment benefit claims also rose slightly to 264,000.
