Ajax beat Milan, qualify for Europa League in style
Amsterdam football club Ajax bowed out of the Champions League competition with a 2-0 away win against AC Milan.
Ajax put on a ‘fine attacking display that will have pleased caretaker coach Frank de Boer,’ the Uefa website reported.
Both goals came in the second half.
FC Twente, the other Dutch side in the Champions League, also heads for the Europa League after the winter break.
