Supermarkets sell more organic products

Dutch supermarkets carry on average 90 different organic products, compared with 78 a year ago, according to the annual survey by environmental group Milieudefensie.


The Plus supermarket chain tops the list, with an average of 210 organic products per shop. Jumbo is in second place, with 200.
While Albert Heijn supermarkets have an average 156 organic products on their shelves, the AH to go branches at stations come bottom of the list with just two organic products. Aldi also ranks at the bottom with two.
