Oranje beat Turkey 1-0 in football friendly
Klaas Jan Huntelaar scored the only goal of the match as the Netherlands defeated Turkey 1-0 in a friendly in Amsterdam.
It was Huntelaar’s 25th goal as an international, Nos tv said.
Turkey is coached by Dutchman Guus Hiddink, who said afterwards: ‘We were beaten by the second best team in the world. There’s no shame in 1-0 because we caused the Netherlands problems.’
