Prime minister is popular with young people

Prime minister Mark Rutte is popular with young people, who describe him as clever, charismatic and engaging, according to a poll for tv show ÉenVandaag.

Some 62% of the youngsters polled said they trust Rutte, 43, as leader of the country. And 89% do not think it is a problem that the prime minister is single.
But almost half think the VVD and Christian Democrats are wrong to form a government with the help of the anti-Islam PVV.
Some 85% of those polled got their political news from television, while 67% relied on newspapers. Twitter was the most popular social media source, used by just 16% to keep abreast of political developments.
