Thieme quits as animal party chairwoman, stays on as leader

Marianne Thieme has stood down as chairwoman of the animal rights party PvdD but will remain leader of the party and its two-woman grouping in parliament.


Thieme said the chairperson needs to give his or her ‘undivided attention’ to the party as a whole. The PvdD has over 12,000 members.
