No charges following Van der Hoop bankruptcy

The public prosecution department has decided not to take legal action against former staff of bankrupt bank Van der Hoop on charges including bankruptcy fraud, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Monday.

Van der Hoop went bust in December 2005. But after years of investigation into circumstances surrounding the bankruptcy, the department has decided to drop all charges because of a lack of evidence.
