Economic recovery continues, exports main motor

The recovery of the Dutch economy continued in the first three months of this year, driven by exports, the national statistics office CBS said on Wednesday.

But consumer spending continues to fall, the CBS said.
The economy grew by 0.2% compared with the final three months of 2009, the third quarterly growth in succession.
Exports rose 8.2% compared with the same period in 2009, while household spending was down 0.4%.
