Dutch skier dies in avalanche

A 33-year-old Dutch man caught up an an avalanche in a Austrian ski resort on Thursday has died of his injuries, the Telegraaf reports on Friday.
The man was one of a group of four Dutch skiers who were swept away when the avalanche hit the Tyrol village of Sankt Anton am Arlberg at around 3.30pm.
A second man from the group was also left unconscious in the accident and taken to hospital in Innsbruck, the paper says.
