Dutch are among the happiest Europeans

The Dutch are among the most satisfied people in Europe about their quality of life, according to new European Commission research.

Top of the list in the Commission’s new social climate report are the Swedes, followed by the Danes, then the Dutch.
The report shows the Dutch are particularly happy about their personal situation, jobs, home, cost of living, heath care and social security systems.
For example, many Europeans are particularly dissatisfied with the way inequalities and poverty are addressed in their country, with only Luxembourg and the Netherlands registering a positive score, the report shows.
Dutch children also repeatedly top happiness polls.
