Witnesses told the paper three shots were fired and the man has been taken to hospital. The area has been sealed off.
Eyewitnesses told the paper the man approached the school with the knife. He is rumoured to be a parent of children at the school who has a contact arrangement with them.
Earlier in the day the man had apparently set fire to his house and created a scene in front of the office where his ex wife works.
According to the Telegraaf, the police arrived at the school before the man and children at the school were not aware of what was going on.
