Stedelijk museum to open later as well
Friday 11 December 2009
Amsterdam's Stedelijk modern art museum will probably re-open later than planned, departing director Gijs van Tuyl says in an interview with the Volkskrant.
The museum is set to open its doors after a major overhaul at the end of next year. 'But I have to ask myself if we will make it by next year. I don't think so,' Van Tuyl told the paper.
The capital's Rijksmuseum and maritime museums are also closed for renovations, both of which have gone over-budget and run into delays.
