PSV through to second round Europa League

Eindhoven football club PSV are through to the second round of the UEFA Europa League after beating Prague's AC Sparta 1-0 at home on Thursday as a result of a home goal by the Czech side in the final minutes of the match.

PSV have one more game to play in the group phase of the Europa League but Thursday's victory has already secured them a place in the second round.

PSV is unbeaten in the 33 national and international matches it has played so far this season, winning 27 and drawing in six.

Earlier this week Amsterdam's Ajax also won a place in the second round of the tournament.
