Neighbour used webcam to spy on girl
A 62-year-old man has appeared in court in Amersfoort for taking secret video recordings of the 15-year-old girl who lived downstairs after hiding a webcam in her bedroom, the AD reports.
The man placed the webcam in the ceiling of the girl’s room when no-one was at home. The camera was spotted after a housing corporation worker was brought in to look at debris on the girl’s floor.
The man denied having a sexual motive, saying he just wanted to see the girl in her underwear.
There have been several similar cases of spying in the Netherlands this year.
