Netherlands sixth best place to live

The Netherlands is the sixth best place in the world to live according to United Nations research published on Monday.


Top of the list is Norway, followed by Australia and Iceland. Canada and Ireland also ranked above the Netherlands.
Bottom of the list is the sub-Saharan state of Niger, with Afghanistan and Sierre Leone just ahead.
The index was compiled using 2007 data on gross domestic produce per head of population, education, and life expectancy.
