Two new swine flu deaths in Holland

Two more people have died of swine flu (H1N1) in the Netherlands, bringing the death toll to four, the RIVM health institute said on Friday.

The 52-year-old man and 85-year-old woman already had other serious health problems, the RIVM said.
The total of flu victims who have been hospitalised has now reached 90, 10 of whom were admitted earlier this week. In almost half the cases, the victims have other serious health problems.
Although the Netherlands stopped keeping a central register of swine flu cases in July, news agency ANP says 5.5 out of every 10,000 people in the country now has the virus. A week ago, the figure was 4.5. The figures are based on the number of people who have reported to their family doctor with flu-like symptoms, ANP says.
