Thursday 17 September 2009
One in eight Dutch people have a higher risk of developing diabetes, cancer and heart problems because they don't eat properly, according to research by preventative healthcare group NIPED.
The organisaton looked at the eating patterns of 10,000 people, mainly working for major companies or who were retired.
Nevertheless, a large number of people are prepared to change their diets if they are aware of the risks they run, the research showed.
