Nutreco needs more time to meet target
Animal and fish feed producer Nutreco said on Thursday it would need longer than forecast to reach its target of doubling operating profit.
The deadline for reaching operating profit of €230m has now been stretched from 2010 to 2012 at the latest, Nutreco said.
Nutreco booked earnings of €105m in 2008, 7% down on the 2007 figure. Sales rose 23% to €4.9bn, boosted by higher raw material prices, the company said in a statement.
